A friend came over for Mexican dinner, and my contribution was Sopapilla Cheesecake. It was divine! I figured since I have not posted anything of the crafty variety, I would at least share this kind of creation!

I have been preparing for the high American holiday that is Thanksglutton, I mean Thanksgiving. There will be equal parts pies/people at my house. As it should be. So far, the cooking progress is: Maple Cinnamon Pumpkin Pie (1); Pumpkin Apple Butter; Cranberry Relish; Pumpkin Pie (2). Tonight I shall prepare the Award Winning Pumpkin Cheesecake (2), but I will take (1) to work. So I take it back. With 8 people in attendance, we should each get half a pie, not a full pie. Don't alert the authorities, that is almost un-patriotic!
